Helena has EXCELLENT medical insurance. I worked in the medical field for 15 years prior to joining Helena and never had excellent coverage like the Helena medical plans provide me and my family. Only about 10 percent of company insurances cover infertility treatments and Helena’s medical plan is one of them. Thanks to this benefit I was able to afford my IVF treatment and I had my son, Caleb.

Seven months after I was hired, I became blind and had to go through emergency brain surgery forcing me to be off work. It was a humbling experience at what all the company did for me. My coworkers and even other Helena employees I did not know sent well wishes and checked on me. Since that time, I have had job offers to go work for competitors and other businesses in the agriculture community and I wouldn’t dream of it. The way Helena rallied around me during this one traumatic life event will always keep me here. The company has done many other great things for me but this was a time where working at Helena was my shining star during a dark time.
